At Attached, we believe in the importance of individualized approaches to therapy, as each therapist-client relationship is unique. While there is no one-size-fits-all solution, we adhere to certain guiding principles. Our team utilizes trauma-informed care and an anti-oppressive framework to support your healing journey.

When exploring your reasons for seeking therapy, we examine how your past experiences have shaped your present self. These early life experiences influence our interactions and responses to others. Despite wishing otherwise, our past impacts our present, but we can learn to reshape these experiences for personal growth. Navigating life can be daunting, especially when we face feelings of being undervalued, broken, or unworthy. In times of insecurity, we tend to rely on protective patterns, such as fight, flight, freeze, or fawn. While these patterns may have served us in the past, they can keep us stuck. Gaining insight into these patterns allows for better self-understanding and the opportunity for positive change.

Attached was created as a space for you to collaborate and grown in your authentic self. No push, no judgments, no wrong or right. We offer support to individuals, couples, and families who want to find authentic ways to connect. We will work to understand the patterns that are present for you and identify what you want to change and what you want to keep the same.

Attached is grounded in anti-oppression, gender-affirming, sexuality, and relationship-inclusive perspectives, values, and beliefs. The strategies we utilize are trauma-informed dictated by each person’s unique needs, developmental phase, and style.
